Synopsis:
Phyllis Richman (Washington Post’s food critic from 1976 to 2000 and author of “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Ham”) writes a wonderful account of the parallel then diverging lives she and her mother led coping with Parkinson’s Disease. This narrative has a detailed, truthful and meaningful voice that tackles many issues surrounding Parkinson’s Disease and more generally chronic conditions that require a multitude of medications and care.
