GP and nurses’ perceptions of how after hours care for people receiving palliative care at home could be improved: a mixed methods study


This study was conducted in Australia and addresses an important subject within palliative medicine:  home healthcare.  As health care reform continues to be hotly debated in the United States, many patients and health care professionals believe that home healthcare is an increasingly important service.  This study documents the role of general practitioners in palliative home care and tries to highlight the inherent problem of continuity.
