Andy Baxter was the initiator of the Foundation in 2005. He is the widower of Carley Cunniff. Mr. Baxter serves as the administrative overseer of the Foundation, and he consults regularly with the other trustees.

Robert Martensen advises the Foundation on faculty and content for its CME offerings and its collaboration with The American College of Surgeons. In addition to his service at NIH, he is appointed as a lecturer in the Department of Social Medcine at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Martensen is serving in a personal capacity.

Dr. Herman has been instrumental in formulating the mission of the Foundation and in orchestrating the Foundation’s first CME conference in November of 2007. He served as a Course Director for the 2007 conference.
