A Doctor's Blog: Improving Palliative Care in the ED

Synopsis:

This recent blog posting by Dr. Rosielle begins an interesting dialogue on palliative care in the emergency room.  His analysis includes information gathered from multiple journal articles from the Annals of Emergency Medicine and leads into a discussion and question about how to best describe what palliative medicine is, how it is different than what most Doctor's should be doing and what constitutes a palliative care specialist.
